Epoxy Sand

Epoxy is a product group that is generally used to protect concrete surfaces and give them a decorative appearance. Because of these features, in a very wide area; It is used with an ever-increasing demand in the manufacture of surfaces that are durable, decorative, sanitary, have very high chemical and physical resistance, are harmless to human health both in application and in the next lifetime.

Epoxy product group is one of the "modern" building materials that will be known, used and loved much more in the future. Epoxy products are used as flooring material in places where industrial, decorative and hygienic conditions are required. It creates shiny, smooth, chemical resistant surfaces. It is a long-lasting product and has various application techniques.

Epoxy Sand is used in Coating, Epoxy Lamination, Non-Slip Floor Application with its rough patterned, long-lasting, chemical resistant, high pressure and abrasion resistance and anti-slip structure.”

For epoxy application, the ambient and concrete surface temperature should be between +10°C and +30°C. Concrete humidity must be unconditionally 4% and below, and the relative humidity in the environment must be below 80%. Concrete moisture content should be measured using a moisture meter, and the ambient temperature should be increased when necessary.

Epoxy sand for non-slip floor application

The epoxy non-slip floor is different from other epoxy floors, and the finish layer is left rough. This roughness can be left in the form of orange peel patterns or grains of sand. This type of coating is used in businesses where non-slip is important and in parking lot flooring systems.

Epoxy Multilayer Coating

Epoxymultilayer coating is a multilayer epoxy coating type with medium and heavy mechanical strength and chemical resistance, which has the same properties as other epoxy types.

Properties of Epoxy Sand :

  • Easy to clean
  • Dustproof, waterproof
  • It is in the middle thickness class,
  • Quick and easy to apply
  • Full rough (sand rough)
  • Easy and inexpensive to maintain and repair
  • High adhesion to the ground
  • Thickness varies between 2 mm - 5 mm.
  • Semi-rough (grainy-orange peel pattern) surface
  • Medium resistance to friction, impact and abrasion
  • The Uses of Epoxy Sand

Epoxy Multi-Layer Coating is used in all industrial floors, pharmaceutical factories, showrooms, chemical factories, hospitals, electrical factories, machinery factories, food production facilities, chemical factories, textile factories, clothing workshops, plastic production facilities, automotive industry and all warehouses. It can be used with different color preferences.
