Sand Filter Sand

Pool sand filter sand can be used in children's playgrounds, kindergartens, aquariums, shop window floors, places where a sea sand image is desired and drip irrigation filter tanks. It is natural quartz sand. It does not contain dust and bacteria.

In pool sand filters, water enters the filter tank through a diffuser, while leaking through the quartz sand bed in the tank, dust and sediment are trapped between the sand particles, and the purified water reaching the bottom of the filter tank returns to the installation through the drainage channels and then to your pool. Sand filters can capture particles up to about 20~40 microns.

Use of Filter Sand

Filter sands are mainly used in drinking water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, boiler filters and swimming pools. Quartz Filter sands must comply with TS EN 12904 standards. When the right product is selected, the quality of drinking water increases accordingly.
