Skating Sand

Abrasive sand, also known as Abrasive Sand, is coarsely washed silica sand that works well to aid traction on snow and ice covered roads.

Silica sand is used in Train, Tram, etc. in order to prevent icing and slipping cases that may occur on railways. It is used for safety purposes in vehicles.

Skating sand is usually yellow, gray, beige and white. All colors and sizes are available, from 0-100 microns to 100-120 AFS to 10-15 AFS, from 50 microns to 1mm.
